August 9th is the annual Movies in the Park night at Brooklyn Park, and US Bank along with the GBBA are making plans to sponsor a free neighborhood BBQ on Franklin Street right before the movie from 6-8pm. Free hamburgers, hot dogs, and veggie burgers will be served along with all the fixings, music will be playing, activities will be there to enjoy with the kids, and plenty of potential customers will be there to meet.
It is also National Night Out week so we will be using the Block Party resources for exposure and advertising in addition to our traditional ways. We hope to get fire and police officials there for everyone to meet and greet! Don’t miss this opportunity to promote your business to the local community as they have dinner before the movie and enjoy some entertainment.
All Greater Brooklyn Business Association members will be invited to set up a booth to advertise and share their business, and join in the fun. It should be a well-attended evening and a great way to meet new local customers! The Aladdin also has a show that night which will bring even more people to the area!
