THE BEE, founded in 1906, in 1991 expanded its service to reach across Inner Southeast Portland. It is now the primary and most comprehensive news source for the area from Brooklyn south to the Clackamas County line, and from the Willamette River east to 82nd. Our monthly readership is now estimated by our parent company to be 45,000 — second only to our citywide Portland Tribune. We have a very low cost per thousand as a result.
